The studio is a bright and spacious 230 m² daylight loft studio in Hamburg-Ottensen. Our two flexible rooms are filled with beautiful natural light and feature an open layout – perfect for photo and video productions. As a Hamburg photo location, DWCimage offers high ceilings, original wooden floorboards and versatile factory character.

When you book the studio, your booking includes full use of the space you reserve, plus access to the kitchen, lounge area, Wi-Fi and changing room. Tea, coffee and bottled sparkling water are included with every production booking.

Yes, DWCimage is well suited as a film studio in Hamburg and as a film location. The rooms can be fully blacked out, and the loading area right at the entrance makes set-up easy for larger productions. Whether it's a commercial, documentary or social media content – the studio is versatile.

DWCimage is not fully soundproof. The studio is located in a working building, so occasional background noise from neighbours or downstairs workshops can happen. For productions with clean dialogue, interviews or sensitive sound recording, please let us know early so we can discuss the best timing and set-up.

Yes, we offer both half-day and hourly rates. Studio hire starts from €110 per hour, with a minimum booking of 5 hours. Day rates and tailored production packages are available depending on crew size, room use, timing, equipment, blackout needs, crew rest areas and support required. Whether it’s a one-day product photography shoot or a multi-day video production – we’ll find the right model. All prices exclude VAT.

Yes, we allow outside catering and deliveries. We have two kitchens and a dining area on-site for prep and serving, along with a high-temperature pizza oven – plus plenty of beautiful plates, bowls, cutlery and glasses for every occasion. Plant-based and vegetarian catering options, shared lunches, breakfasts or informal dinners can also be arranged. Please note: the studio is plant-based/vegetarian.

There is no dedicated parking at DWCimage, but parking is available nearby at the VIVO Parkhaus, just a few minutes’ walk. You'll receive detailed arrival and parking information in your booking confirmation. For crews needing to unload heavy equipment, there is space directly outside the studio door for drop-off and collection.

Access to the studio is only available during your booked time slot unless otherwise arranged. Early setup can be requested depending on availability. If additional time is needed, an hourly surcharge will apply.

The studio is on the first floor and there is no lift. Access is via wide industrial stairs, suitable for most equipment loads. Drop-off can be arranged in advance for loading and unloading.

Our cancellation terms are fair and transparent: cancel more than 7 days before your booking and cancellation is free. Cancel within 7 days and a 50% fee applies. Cancel within 48 hours and the full amount is charged.
